This two-year Engineering Academy housed at Kent Theodore Roosevelt High School and Stow-Munroe Falls High School combines academically competitive, college prep courses with hands-on technical studies. Students rotate through four technology areas-computer-aided design, (CAD), electronics, manufacturing and polymers. Various instructional approaches are used, including team teaching, work teams, self-directed studies, and project-based learning. University partners: Cleveland State University, University of Akron, and Case Western Reserve University. Includes courses in CP English, CP Physics, and Honors Algebra II, Honors Pre-Calculus, Calculus (AP) linked with the technology curriculum.

What Is It?
The Ohio ACTE Success Series is a professional development program for career-technical teachers and instructors. It is delivered by teachers, for teachers at schools that offer to host the program.
Who Should Attend?
Teachers/instructors and anyone interested in professional development within their career field.
